As Labor Day approaches there is an excitement in the air as
summer looks to make way for the fall. We at Able Abe Clothing took the streets
of another Thursday Night Market on the look out for Chico’s Street style.
First up we have one of our own as she goes from behind the
camera to in front, this is Kaitlynn. Kaitlynn is from Sacramento and is
attending Chico State. Her future goals are in the in the nursing and
healthcare field. She is a fan of Urban Outfitters and loves to shop quality
chain stores. She likes guys who wear vans, earrings, and fitted ball caps.
Kaitlynn is wearing a heather grey knitted button up vest
top with white lace accent, white denim cutoff shorts, a caramel leather
studded satchel, leather braided sandals and pink painted toes. Cute!
Next we have Jocelyn. Jocelyn is from Salinas and is a
freshmen at Chico State looking to major in Business. Her future goals are in
the entrepreneurial spirit, as she would like to own and run her own spa/salon.
Jocelyn is not much for brand names, as she prefers to shop vintage boutiques
to find the unique look that works for her. Her advice to guys is wear clothes
that fit, not a fan of the baggy look. She also doesn’t care to guys who expose
their boxers, yet she does like a guy who wears low top converse and a sense of
style.
Jocelyn is wearing a silky lavender empire waist dress, nude
gladiator sandals, a colorful beadwork bracelet and earrings, with a black
leather Channel handbag, and perfectly pink decal toes. Very Nice!
And finally we have Sarah, who we stopped after she picked
up fresh strawberries from the market. Sarah is from Grass Valley, and a junior
at Chico State majoring in Psychology. Her future goals are to develop her own
practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Her favorite brands are Guess,
American Eagle, and she loves to shop Macy’s. She likes a guy that dresses
nice, button down shirts, slacks, and has his own sense of style.
Sarah is wearing a black tan printed boat neck dress, skinny
brown leather belt, silver and diamond guess watch, a crushed brown leather
handbag, vintage tree of life pendant necklace, wild flower teardrop earrings,
and beautifully red decal toes. Lovely!
