Director Antoine Fuqua brings his modern vision to a classic
story in The Magnificent Seven. With the town of Rose Creek under the deadly
control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue, the desperate townspeople employ
protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns. As they
prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven
mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money. (Courtesy of Internet

Growing up and remembering seeing the original MAGNIFICENT
SEVEN it only seemed fit to see this one and see if the original held up. From
my stand point the cast of the remake seemed a little less iconic, but the way
they played the comedy with the drama seemed to hearken to the original. I feel
like they did a great job and that the film makes for an entertaining romp. So
for MAGNIFICENT SEVEN I give it 4 stars.
