As a fan of the sci-fi flick I felt ARRIVAL was a good
example of an alien close encounter done well. I say that because it played on
the fear of an alien attack world wide, but it was more about life and
communication that anything. I also felt the approach they took to explain, or
show that, was rather smart. It was also a rather moderately paced film that
grew on you and before you know it you caught up. Another thing likeable about
this film is that it kept away from many of the clichés that usually come along
with films of this genre. So for ARRIVAL I give it 4 stars of 5.
