MY NETFLIX MOVIE REVIEWS #149

In the wake of an unknown global terror, a mother must find the strength to flee with her children down a treacherous river in search of safety. Due to unseen deadly forces, the perilous journey must be made blindly. Directed by Emmy winner Susanne Bier, Bird Box is a thriller starring Academy Award winner Sandra Bullock, John Malkovich, Sarah Paulson, and Trevante Rhodes. Written by Netflix (Courtesy of Internet Movie Database)

In all honestly I must say I didn’t take in BIRDBOX due to all the hoopla surrounding the film. Yet at the same time the cut of the first trailer I saw sold me on the film. Upon watching it I was transfixed watching an extremely taut thriller. Of course at the same time I was being entertained I did have some major questions that arose, which I felt the film did not address that would have made the film that much more intriguing. So for BIRDBOX I give it a 3.75 of 5 stars.
