MY NETFLIX MOVIE REVIEWS #200

In the midst of a pro basketball lockout, sports agent Ray Burke (AndrĂ© Holland) finds himself caught in the face-off between the league and the players. His career is on the line, but Ray is playing for higher stakes. With only 72 hours to pull off a daring plan, he outmaneuvers all the power-players as he uncovers a loophole that could change the game forever. The outcome raises questions of who owns the game - and who ought to. Written by Netflix (Courtesy of Internet Movie Database)

I have always been a fan of Steven Soderbergh and had seen the trailer to this Netflix film and knew I had to see (2019) HIGH FLYING BIRD. Upon watching I could tell this was a Soderbergh film by the actors blocking and how they were set in the frame were all in his style. As for the film itself, it told a dynamic story that I wish more films tackled stories of athlete's lives behind what we see on court and on the field. So for HIGH FLYING BIRD, I give it 3.5 stars of 5
