DA 5 BLOODS (2020) Directed by Spike Lee, written by Danny Bilson, Paul De Meo, Kevin Willmott & Spike Lee, produced by Beatriz Levin is a journey of a film where each minute is either informing, inspiring or revealing.

Having been directed by Spike Lee I would expect nothing less as DA 5 BLOODS seemingly came at a time where change and revolution are in dire need. Upon watching the film I found the cast to be a list of black actors who have been in some notable films, Delroy Lindo possibly the most familiar face had an incredible performance here. With an almost 3 hour film, the pacing was great keeping me intrigued throughout. I

In the End: I found DA 5 BLOODS to be a very well film delivering some truths about the Vietnam war and the African American experience like only Spike Lee could do. So I give this film 4 of 5 stars.
