I don’t quite remember how I got turned onto this film or
who recommended it, but I was happy to view another western. Watching the
credits roll built my anticipation thinking it would be an offbeat or even
awesomely brutal in its approach. I found the film to be very entertaining, but
felt the story was a bit simplistic. Overall I was glad to have seen this film
and look forward to seeing more films by this director. So for IN AVALLEY OF
VIOLENCE I give it 3 ½ stars.
