My viewing selection for this week, a recent release on Netflix is an action film entitled POINT BLANK. As a fan of Anthony Mackie, this was the draw, although his role came off slightly soft. I can also say that about the story, but looking for the silver lining, I thought the chemistry or the buddy relationship between Mackie and Frank Grillo was impressive. As this is a standard running length film, it all works out in the end, as a simplistic story is not drawn out. So for POINT BLANK, I give it 3 stars of 5.
