As a significant fan of the film noir genre, I found (2018) ANON to be a futuristic take on this look. I was highly intrigued by this film upon viewing as it took on a stylish look in modern society. As for the story, it plays as a detective murder mystery, which for me was not as taut a thriller as I’d like, but entertaining none the less. Clive Owen, who played the main character Sal Frieland had a good performance, but in the end, I was hoping for more from the film and its actors. So for ANON, I give it 3 stars of 5.
