Having not known much about the life of Miles Davies life I
wondered how true to life this film would be. The story they portrayed of an
aging artist looking to regain past glory was definitely compelling and kept me
intrigued throughout. Outside of that I felt Don Cheadle’s performance was tremendous,
as he played the main character of Miles Davis, which could have made or broken
the films success. I would recommend this film to lovers of jazz and those who
live lives of creative endeavors. So for MILES AHEAD I give it 3 ½ stars.
