An outbreak of dog flu has spread through the city of Megasaki,
Japan, and Mayor Kobayashi has demanded all dogs to be sent to Trash Island. On
the island, a young boy named Atari sets out to find his lost dog, Spots, with

Having heard many good this about this film I finally got
the opportunity to see this film I was pleasantly surprised. The film I am
talking about is ISLE OF DOGS. To start by saying this was a genius level film
unlike anything I’ve seen, which made it so special. I am familiar with Wes
Anderson films and to me this one may be his best. I love the idea of telling a
story with dogs as its characters and the animation was fun and whimsical all
in fashion for the Wes Anderson style. So for ISLE OF DOGS I give it 4.2 stars
of 5.
